About Tanya

Tanya Curtis is a woman of versatility having committed her early adult life to gaining life experience in whichever way that came ~ working in early childcare, then as a photographer for Pixi Foto travelling extensively through the east states of Australia and England for work. Tanya has also travelled to Indonesia, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe, United Kingdom and America as she enjoys being with people from all walks of life.
At the age of 25, Tanya began her Psychology degree at University, but shortly after realised that her strength lay in the Behaviour Specialist field and swapped her study discipline.
Over the next 5 years Tanya completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Behaviour Management), Masters of Counselling and Masters of Behaviour Management, having already completed her Associate Diploma of Education (Child Care) in her late teenage years.
While studying for her Masters degree, Tanya was also employed by Bond University in their Clinical Unit as well as in Academic Roles.
Not wanting to be restricted by University governance, at the age of 30, Tanya founded her private practice, Fabic (Functional Assessment and Behavioural Interventions Centre) that has now expanded into a Multi-disciplinary center. Today Fabic offers services locally, nationally and internationally in the fields of Behaviour Specialist Services, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Counselling.
Tanya’s business is based on her love for humanity and the dedication and care that she has for people can be felt in her precision and commitment in all that she brings to her clients, carers, students, staff, colleagues, friends, family and the various community initiatives that she is a part of.
